Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, licensed nail technician, and today I want to answer the question, how much time do I allow between coats of nail polish? So I have my nail polish and I have my top coat here and we've actually already gone through the first coat, literally just put the last touches on the thumb nail here.
Really you don't have to wait very long at all, by the time you get through the first coat of all ten nails you can immediately start back up with the first finger that you polished so that's usually just a couple minutes, pretty quickly. So then normally what I would do is go through and paint all the other ones, but just for the sake of showing you here how quickly you can move on, after you've polished all the nails with the second coat, you can immediately go in to the top coat. You don't worry, you won't smudge or anything, what you want to do is just lightly kind of drop the bead of the top coat on and bring it to the edge of the nail, okay? And by the time you get to the last one you'll be ready to apply your quick dry or go under the dryer or what ever it is that you do to speed along the process. So pretty simple, pretty easy, very quick. That is how much time do I allow between coats of polish? And my name is Joi. Once again thanks guys, bye.
